Ducting and Ventilation
Aluminium flexible hose is made with 3 layers for the core - 2 metalized polyester and 1 aluminium. The hose is also wire reinforced to give strength and maintain its form. For use with mechanical ventilation and air conditioning systems. Manufactured to BS476 parts 6&7 and 20 (54923, 54068, 53442). Available in diameters from 80mm to 508mm and supplied in standard lengths of 10 metres.
Technical static working temperature -30 degrees C to 140 degrees C. Maximum working pressure 2500 Pa. Maximum air velocity 30 m/s. Bending radius calculation 0.54 x diameter. Requires duct tape to ensure joints are sealed.
